ADA AWARENESS WEEK
In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Lewis University will celebrate this landmark legislation by hosting an ADA Awareness Week from October 18 – 22, 2015. Activities include keynotes speeches by noted authors in the area of disability studies, successful professionals with disabilities and opportunities for students, faculty and staff to share their of personal narratives of living with disability. Faculty will present on noted topics during the week regarding ableism, access and equity for people with disabilities, legal and legislative issues in Illinois, etc.
