LIBRARIES EMPOWER EVERYONE
In partnership with Reaching Across Illinois Library System, Outreach librarians, vision teachers, independent living center staff, nursing home activity directors, and other partners who work with people who are blind, low vision, or physically unable to read regular print will be invited to learn about our services, and help ITBOC plan to better serve these organizations' eligible clients, students, or patrons. ABOUT ILLINOIS TALKING BOOK OUTREACH CENTER
The Illinois Talking Book Outreach Center provides no cost audio and Braille book library service for those unable to read regular print because of low vision, blindness or physical disability. ITBOC registers customers for talking books and playback equipment, and mails the books to/from library patrons free of charge.
