Caity-Shea Violette is a playwright and actress. Caity-Shea’s national award- winning work as a theatre artist explores trauma, invisible disabilities, and gender-based violence. Caity-Shea’s past accolades include the 2012 Kennedy Center’s National Partners of the American Theatre Playwriting Excellence Award and the 2014 A Room of Her Own Foundation: Shakespeare’s Sister Playwriting Fellowship. Caity-Shea graduated Cum Laude and earned a B.F.A. from the University of Minnesota.
